Dr. Lindsay F. Dowis is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides comprehensive care across a wide range of interests and specialties. Her clinical focus includes primary and urgent care, mental health, attention deficit disorder, pain management, perimenopause and menopause, hormone replacement therapy, weight management and whole-person care.
Dr. Dowis began her medical journey in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina. She went on to receive her Doctor of Osteopathy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Her philosophy of care is rooted in treating every patient the way she would want her own family to be treated. She takes time to listen, support and advocate for those she serves, celebrating their successes and guiding them through their challenges.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Dowis most enjoys spending time with her family, as well as playing golf, interior decorating and running.
